Fly Fishing Papagayo
Papagayo Fly Fishing Charters. This is another way and different technique to do fishing used for many anglers, this technique can be Inshore shallow in water, and Deep sea Fishing too. Some species can be caught, as; Big eye jack, Bonita, Rooster fish, sailfish, magi-magi and many others.
We don’t have a specific Fishing Season in Guanacaste for Fly Fishing, you can practice this fishing the all year round, but some months from April until December, have better weather conditions due it’s rainy and these months present quiet conditions on the surface of the ocean for Fishing in Gulf Papagayo.
This Fishing technique is a challenge in Offshore in search for a Sailfish due the weather conditions in open water usually are not the best in the months of January until late April in Gulf of Papagayo; during these months, we typically use conventional reels; but trying Fly Fishing; the effort is definitely worth it.
Fly fishing equipment must be brought by you, as we are unable to provide it. Our crew will provide guidance.
