Some boats reservations require a 50% deposit, others $200, and others just $100; it will depsnds on the size or price of the boat.
Reservations must be secured by a deposit with a credit card or thru PayPal.
Balance payment for the fishing charter is collected on the day of the fishing trip in cash once you get onboard; Cash is always the preferred method of payment.
Credit card merchants in Costa Rica are expensive and all credit card transactions are taxe; so, If you must pay for the balance of the boat or the entire fishing charter by credit card, there will be an extra charge of 13%, these are the Government taxes added to your card; so, we recommend to bring cash to pay your balance.
CANCELLATION POLICY
100% refund of deposit if the fishing trip is cancelled by the Captain due to bad weather, we will try to re-book your fishing trip for a better day if the customer’s schedule allows, otherwise we will cheerfully refund your deposit.
When you reserve a fishing trip, we do not book anyone else for that day. No shows leave the captain and deckhand standing at the fully set up boat wondering where is their charter.
1 – There will be not refund if you cancel your reservation 1 or 2 days before the fishing trip. In the best cases, we can coordinate with you to reschedule your trip if you, or the boat is available.
2. 2-a. If you have made a reservation with a boat and have had it reserved for at least 2 months, and then decide to cancel; your refund will only be 50%.
2-b. If you have made a reservation with a boat and have had it reserved for 3 months or more, and then decide to cancel; There will be no refund.
3 – When you book a fishing trip for yourself, we do not book anyone else for that day with that boat; On the fishing date, if you do not show up, the captain will be waiting for you for up to 30 minutes. If you do not show up, you will cancel the trip.
That is why it is important that you let us know a day in advance if everything is fine or not for that fishing trip.
ABOUT THE 105′ YACHT
About the 105-foot Yacht. The deposit for any reservation is 50%, non-refundable. If it turns out that the client cannot do the tour on the agreed day, it can be rescheduled for another day, as long as the boat is available and it will only be for one occasion that it can be rescheduled, and will not be able to do it a second time.
One week prior to the tour date, the remaining 50% of the tour will be paid.
GENERAL POLICY
– Time: Be, 15 minutes prior to departure time.
– Rates: Rates are subject to change and do not include customary tip for the crew (20%).
– Safety: The safety and enjoyment of our passengers and crew is extremely important. It will be the sole decision of the vessel Captain in assessing equipment, water and weather conditions as to actual departure.
– If a cancellation must be made under the above circumstances, it will be the client’s choice for a refund of deposit or rescheduling.
– Medical Concerns: Please inform us of any medical problems or special requirements at the time of booking.
– Alcohol: Beer is allowed but being obnoxious and drunk is not. Always drink responsibly.
