Deep sea Fishing is preferably done on a full-day tour, but it can also be done in 3/4 days. This experience takes you to deeper, clearer waters, about 20 miles out. This is completely opposite to Inshore Fishing, which is why it is not possible to do both deep sea and Inshore Fishing in the same tour. You can choose either inshore or Deep sea Fishing, but not both, because you would spend a lot of time traveling in a boat ride back and forth.

Sometimes the weather conditions in the Gulf of Papagayo are not the best; It is important to keep in mind that during the Windy Seasons that go from the beginning of January to the end of March, it’s windy, with intermittent conditions, that on windy days, the conditions are not the best and limit the possibility of fishing for sailfish and Marlin in the Gulf Papagayo.
