Gulf of Papagayo is one of the most relevant destinations for Sport fishing charters and water activity all year around. Many migratory and territorial species of the Papagayo Gulf such as; Sailfish, marlin, roosterfish, snapper and others can be targeted in any boat for Sport Fishing. We are your best option in Guanacaste.
Our Fishing charters itinerary are: Full-day, 3/4-day, and half-day; Our location is in Playas del Coco at only 25 minutes away from Liberia Airport; Daniel Oduber in Guanacaste. Also, we can pick you up at your hotel beach by boat or, arrange a shuttle by car for any fishing adventure that usually starts in the morning at 7:30 am.
Rooster Fishing
A Rooster Fishing charter is not only trolling, there are many other different ways to catch one of them using different techniques as; Jigging, baitcasting, bottom fishing, spinning with light tackle... The biggest rooster as average size 70 pounds weight is our goal. DDuring your fishing trip in Guanacaste, your primary interest; is ours too! Also, we do afternoon fishing charters, we can pick you up at your hotel beach at 1:00.pm, or, earlier if it is possible. We fish for Mahi-mahi, roosterfish, bottom fishing, jigging... Fishing from the beach is an option that you can also take advantage of if you are in a beach hotel or near it; don't forget to bring your shore fishing equipment so you can enjoy this activity for which you Don't need a fishing license, but you Do need one if you are going to fish by boat. Also, there are fishing stores in some locations such as; Playas del Coco, Playa Flamigo, or Playa Tamarindo if you stay in the Gulf of Papagayo, if you are in the Central Pacific, you will surely find fishing shops available near you.
You can also bring your own light fishing tackle on the boat for roosterfishing as well.
